Refund policy

1. Return window

You may return an item within 30 days of the delivery date.

After 30 days we can no longer accept a return for refund. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with all original tags still attached, in the condition they arrived in.

2. What cannot be returned

Altered garments are final sale.

Once a suit, jacket or trouser has been tailored it has been cut for one person and cannot be resold, so it cannot be returned or exchanged. Please confirm the fit before requesting alterations.

3. Who pays return shipping

The customer pays return shipping, except where the error is ours.

If we shipped the wrong item, or the item arrived damaged or faulty, we pay the return shipping and will replace or refund it at your choice. In every other case — including a change of mind or a sizing decision — the return postage is yours.

4. Restocking fee

There is no restocking fee.

The full price of the returned item is refunded. Original outbound shipping charges are not refunded unless the return is our error.

5. How to start a return

Email support@astoriaboutique.com with your order number and the item you want to return.

We will reply with the return address and instructions. Do not ship anything back before you receive that reply, as unannounced returns cannot be matched to an order.

6. Refunds and how long they take

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of the returned item being inspected.

Inspection itself takes up to 3 business days from the day the item reaches us, so the refund is processed within 8 business days of your parcel arriving. Your bank or card issuer may take several further days after that to post the credit to your account, which is outside our control.

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are handled as a return plus a new order.

This is faster than holding your original payment open, and it means the size you want is reserved as soon as you order it rather than when your return arrives.
