About Us

Who we are

Astoria Boutique is a menswear shop in Astoria, Queens, specialising in men's formalwear — suits, tuxedos, blazers and vests.

We sell the garments men buy for the days that get photographed: a wedding, a first day in a new job, a gala, a graduation. The staff on the floor fit suits for a living, which means the honest answer is sometimes that a jacket is wrong for you, and we would rather say so than sell it.

Where to find us

Our shop is at 33-08 31st Ave, Astoria, NY 11106, and the door is open Mon–Sun 11 AM–9 PM, Eastern Time.

We are on 31st Avenue in Astoria, a short walk from the neighbourhood's main strip and reachable from across Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn. There is a map and directions on our Contact page. If you are travelling in for a fitting, call ahead and we will make sure someone is free when you arrive.

What we sell

Men's tailoring, and nothing that is not.

Two-piece and three-piece suits make up most of the floor, in navy, charcoal, grey, brown, black and lighter tones for summer. Tuxedos are stocked year-round for black tie. Blazers and dinner jackets are sold as separates, from plain navy through velvet, patterned and embellished pieces for an evening out. Cuts run from classic through modern to slim fit, with double-breasted closures across the range, and boys' formal sets are carried for weddings and family occasions. Fabrics include wool, linen and linen blends, velvet and woven textures such as herringbone, glen check and windowpane.

How orders work

Order online and we ship, or come to the shop and try things on first.

Online orders placed before 12 PM Eastern are processed the same business day; after that they go out the next one. Orders are handled in 1–2 business days and then travel 4–8 business days, depending on where they are going. Standard shipping is $8.00, orders over $70 ship free, and express delivery is $15.00. Returns are accepted within 30 days. Full terms are on the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy pages.

Anything bought here can be altered. Tailoring is where a suit stops being clothing and starts fitting, and we would rather you came back once for a sleeve length than never wore the jacket.
